Zest Education are currently offering an exciting position to a hardworking Primary School Teacher to join a school based in Selly Oak.  You will be required to teach in a Year 3 class on a full-time basis, Monday through to Friday. As a Year 3 Teacher at this school, you must be able to motivate and inspire the children. You must also deliver engaging lessons and ensure all children feel safe and happy in their learning environment.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach creative lessons, prepare teaching materials and classroom.
  • Communicate with parents and senior leaders to discuss and monitor pupils progress.
  • Establish strict guidelines for behaviour management and promote good behaviour.
  • Attend meetings and liaise with colleagues to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
  • Create a happy, safe and secure learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have relevant teaching experience.
  • Have a genuine passion for working with children and commitment to helping them achieve.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
