Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is currently working closely with a delightful school in Stafford to fill the position of Year 3 Teaching Assistant. This part-time role is available immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Year 3 class teacher to support the learning and development of students. Duties will include assisting in lesson preparation, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to create engaging and interactive learning activities. The teaching assistant will also contribute to the overall well-being and pastoral care of students, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

– Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably as a teaching assistant
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
– Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
– Relevant qualifications in education or child development are desirable

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
