Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is proud to partner with a lovely school in Handsworth Wood in their search for a Part-Time Year 3 Teaching Assistant. This position is available until the end of the academic year.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning and development of students. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support to students who may require additional help, and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere of the classroom. You will also be involved in creating and implementing educational resources, monitoring student progress, and communicating effectively with both students and parents.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within a primary school setting.
– A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journeys.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
– A proactive and adaptable approach to learning and development.
– Relevant qualifications in education or child development would be advantageous.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
