The Role

As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you will take full responsibility for your class and play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress
  • Writing annual reports and maintaining accurate pupil records
  • Attending and contributing to parents’ evenings
  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school development
  • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, attainment, and pupil wellbeing

  • Is an ECT or experienced primary teacher
