Every ECT needs a reliable and supportive school for the start of their teaching journey and Zest Education is working with a school that can provide just that!

The school is located in the heart of Erdington, and they are looking for a motivated ECT to teach a wonderful year 4 class.

The ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school is fully inclusive and is at the heart of the community. Their strong team of teaching and support staff ensure all children who require it get extra support to ensure they are making good progress. The pastoral team do all they can to support the social, emotional and mental health of both children and staff.

The role will involve the successful candidate preparing high quality lessons and teaching materials that inspire and provoke curiosity. You will mark and use assessment for learning to inform future lessons and talk to parents and carers about their children’s progress. As you will have a full-time teaching assistant in your class, you will be expected to manage and deploy the work of the support staff to ensure they are being used effectively.

Pay will start at £130 per day based on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
