Year 4 Teacher – Full-Time (KS2)

Location: Solihull
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Autumn Term (Initial Half Term with Potential Extension)
Salary: Competitive / Paid to Scale

Zest Education is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a motivated and adaptable Year 4 Teacher to join a busy and thriving junior school in Solihull. This is a full-time teaching role starting in September 2026, initially for the first half term, with a strong possibility of extension into the second half of the Autumn term.

About the Role

  • Full teaching responsibility for a Year 4 (KS2) class
  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Effectively manage behaviour and support pupils with a range of needs
  • Adapt teaching to ensure all pupils, including those with additional needs, make progress
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and supportive staff team

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who can bring energy and confidence into the classroom. The successful candidate will be:

  • Engaging and enthusiastic, able to inspire Year 4 pupils
  • Confident managing challenging behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
  • Skilled at adapting lessons to meet individual needs, including pupils with additional needs
  • Creative in their teaching approach, making learning enjoyable and accessible
  • A strong team player, willing to contribute to the wider school community

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2) preferred
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
