Zest Education are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teaching Assistant to go into a school in Telford. This will be a full-time role and last until the end of the academic year. So if you are an individual looking for a new opportunity keep reading!
The school is committed to providing equal opportunities to all students and understand that every child is unique. This being said they ensure that they offer a broad and exciting curriculum and ensure that lessons are tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Responsibilities:
– Support the class teacher in delivering lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
– Provide additional assistance to students who require extra support.
– Help prepare the classroom to ensure it is set up for the day and different activities to take place.
– Ensure that progress made by the children is recorded and reported to the relevant member of staff.
– Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs.
Requirements:
– DBS on update service.
– Experience in a relevant educational setting.
– Passion for supporting the progression of young children.
– Great communication skills and the ability to build relationships.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
