Zest Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lichfield, who are looking to recruit a dedicated Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

This is a full-time position and offers the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant in Year 4, you will play a key role in supporting both the academic and emotional development of pupils. You will be expected to:

  • Work 1:1 with pupils who may need additional support

  • Lead and support small group activities to reinforce learning

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

  • Help create a positive and stimulating classroom environment

  • Support classroom behaviour and promote good learning habits

About You:

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about working with children. To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have relevant experience working with primary-aged children

  • Be confident in supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be committed to supporting the school’s values and learning goals

  • Be proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
