Are you passionate about shaping young minds and making a lasting impact on their educational journey? Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 teacher to join a brilliant team at a school in Chelmsley Wood. This is a full-time position starting in September 2024 and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate.

  • Provide a range of support for children with additional needs.

As a Year 5 teacher, you will play a crucial role in preparing students for their transition to secondary school and supporting their academic and personal development. You will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students, helping them to reach their full potential and achieve excellent outcomes.

Key responsibilities and qualifications for this role include:

  • Holding a valid QTS
  • Planning and delivering exciting and innovative lessons that align with the national curriculum.
  • Assessing and tracking student progress, providing targeted feedback and intervention when necessary.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure the holistic development of students.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of educational best practices and implementing them in the classroom.

The pay for this role will start from £140 a day depending on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
