Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and helping them reach their full potential? Zest Education is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Derby starting in April 2025. This position is scheduled until the end of the academic year with the exciting possibility of extension.
The school is committed to providing exceptional support to ensure that every child thrives in their learning environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher, assist students with their learning, maintain a positive classroom atmosphere, and undertake additional responsibilities as required.
We are seeking an ideal candidate who is level 3 qualified (although not mandatory), has previous experience working in a primary school setting, is determined to help all pupils succeed, and holds or is willing to obtain a valid DBS check.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
