Roles and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to the Year 6 class, preparing students for their transition to secondary school. Duties include creating a dynamic and stimulating learning environment, implementing effective teaching strategies, and providing personalized support to students of varying abilities. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the national curriculum, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in extracurricular activities are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with Year 6 students
– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment processes
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
– Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
