Are you an experienced Year 6 class teacher with a proven track record in guiding students through SATs preparation? This opportunity is tailor-made for you. An outstanding school in Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated upper key stage 2 educator to cover a maternity leave position commencing in May 2025.
This school boasts a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, provides secure on-site parking, and offers continuous professional development prospects. The dynamic curriculum is designed to meet the diverse needs and abilities of every student, ensuring that each child progresses at their own pace and is well-prepared for the transition to secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:
– Establish and uphold high expectations to inspire and motivate all students
– Provide comprehensive support to students during SATs preparation
– Develop and deliver captivating and differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
– Possess a thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 2 years experience teaching upper KS2
– Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Demonstrate strong classroom management skills that cultivate positive behaviour and engagement
– Proficient in safeguarding procedures
