Zest is working closely with multiple primary schools across Staffordshire where there is a high demand for Supply Teachers. We have a range of roles available including day-to-day cover, short-term and long-term placements.

The areas we cover include Lichfield, Rugeley, Cannock, Tamworth and Burntwood.

Supply Teaching enables you to be flexible around your current commitments. So, whether you are looking for a couple of days a week to work around your family one week, or a full five days where you can experience the diverse range of school environments the next, apply now!

The successful applicant will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • The ability to be resourceful and adapt to different schools and pupils needs
  • Have a strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
  • The ability to work well under pressure and have good ICT skills
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning only for short/long term placements.)

Pay is dependent on experience and references.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
