Zest Education are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within a special educational needs school in Telford.
There are both full and part-time roles available and are due to start ASAP. This role is ideal for those who genuinely have a passion for helping children, particularly with learning difficulties, and also a fantastic opportunity for those considering a career in teaching to gain valuable first-hand experience.
The school caters for children from the age of 6-18 with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH). The successful candidate must have experience supporting individuals with SEND or experience within a care background.
You will be required to assist students with their educational and social development, on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You will be assisting the class teacher with preparing learning resources, setting up the classroom and ensuring the environment is maintained to a high standard at all times.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
