Job Description

Are you an experienced teacher looking for a change? Look no further. Zest Education is inviting applications for an exciting opportunity in the Redditch area. This school is on the lookout for an inspiring teacher to join their supportive and committed team. This full-time role starts in January 2024 and will finish at the end of the academic year.

This school caters to a diverse age group, between 7 and 18, across multiple dedicated sites and centres. It caters to children and young individuals who, due to their social emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, are unable to attend mainstream schools. The school is dedicated to ensuring their young people are listened to, can voice their opinions, and can access play, positive self-expression, and learning in a welcoming and positive environment.

Your Role:

  • You’ll create an environment of unconditional respect and support to flourish and build on the pupil’s individual strengths.
  • Safety will be your priority, ensuring the well-being of all pupils and staff, and fostering a culture of transparency and ethical conduct.
  • As a community leader, you’ll drive inclusivity, advocating for young individuals who are unable to access conventional education due to medical, Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and various neuro-diverse conditions.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
