Job Description

Zest Education has an amazing opportunity for an experienced teacher in an incredible special educational needs school in Coventry. This position will begin in November 2023 and be ongoing for the full academic year.

This is a large special school currently catering to around 250 pupils from 4-19 years and offering a broad curriculum to fit every child’s individual needs. This school is passionate that all its students are provided with a nurturing environment to allow them to be the best version of themselves.

The ideal candidate will have successful experience teaching within a SEND environment. As the school caters to young people with a wide range of social emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, candidates will need to be flexible in the delivery of the curriculum and be experienced in planning for educational needs across the full ability range.

The role:

  • Delivering a pupil-centred curriculum that prepares young people to overcome all of their barriers to learning.
  • Playing a leading role in the community to promote an inclusive approach to young people.
  • You must be able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team.
