Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in Sutton Coldfield. This is a part-time position (0.6) starting as soon as possible until Christmas.
The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in history and a proven track record of delivering engaging and inspiring lessons. They will be responsible for teaching history to key stage 3 and key stage 4 students, ensuring that all students are supported and challenged to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Degree in history or a related subject
– Experience teaching history at key stage 3 and key stage 4
– Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for history
– Strong behaviour management skills
– Ability to inspire and motivate students
Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver high-quality history lessons to key stage 3 and key stage 4 students
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Assess and provide feedback on student progress
– Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the department
– Attend department meetings and parents’ evenings as required
