We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join a secondary school in the Bordesley Green that we closely work with on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role starting in April 2024 until July 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for marking and planning.
Responsibilities:
– Deliver engaging and interactive science lessons to students.
– Plan and prepare lesson materials according to the curriculum guidelines.
– Assess and evaluate student performance to provide constructive feedback.
– Support and encourage students to develop their scientific knowledge and skills.
– Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Experience teaching Biology up to KS5 and Physics up to KS4.
– Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the curriculum.
– Excellent communication and organizational skills.
– Passionate about science education and inspiring students.
– Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
Rate of pay varies dependant on experience, ranging from £153 – £211 a day.
