Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s education? This school specializes in supporting children with EHCPs, particularly those in Key Stage 1 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and some challenging behaviour.

As a SEND teacher, your primary responsibility will be to design and implement engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the students. Through your creative and inclusive teaching strategies, you will foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning. Collaboration with other staff members is key, as you will work together to develop and implement strategies to overcome barriers to education.

To excel in this role, you should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Experience working with students with medical, Social Emotional Mental Health needs, and neuro-diverse conditions is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively collaborating with students, parents, and colleagues.
