We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage Two Teaching Assistant to join a team of staff at a  wonderful school in Lichfield. This full-time position is set to start in January 2024 and will run for at least one academic term.

The school is a thriving two-form primary school located in the heart of Lichfield. The school pride themselves on  creative curriculum, which is designed to engage and inspire the students. As a Key Stage Two Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students’ learning journey, helping them to reach their full potential.

Main responsibilities:
– Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and dynamic lessons
– Providing one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance
– Assisting with the planning and preparation of classroom activities
– Supporting students with their social and emotional development
– Monitoring and tracking students’ progress, providing feedback to the class teacher
– Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements:
– Relevant experience working with Key Stage Two students
– A genuine passion for education and supporting the students
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
– A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of students

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
