Are you passionate about teaching and making a positive impact on children’s lives? Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to join a reputable school in Worcester. This is a full-time teaching position, where you will have the opportunity to work with children aged 4-11.
The school has a specific focus on supporting children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). Therefore, we are looking for a candidate who has previous experience working with children with SLD and is knowledgeable about strategies and techniques to support their learning and development.
One of the key highlights of this role is the small class sizes, enabling you to provide individualized attention and tailored support to each student. This creates a friendly and nurturing atmosphere within the school, where every child’s unique needs are met.
To be successful in this position, it is essential that you bring a positive attitude and a genuine passion for teaching. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, implementing effective teaching strategies, and assessing student progress. As such, your enthusiasm, patience, and ability to connect with students will be highly valued.
The position is set to start in November, giving you ample time to prepare for the role and settle into the school’s supportive environment. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
