Job Description

Zest Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join a secondary school in Redditch that we closely work with. The school has been rated ‘Good’ in the latest Ofsted inspection, and they are committed to providing a high-quality education for their students.

This position is part-time (0.6 days). The contract will start in January 2024 and continue until July 2024. It offers a great opportunity for those seeking a flexible teaching role.

As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will have a thorough understanding of the history curriculum and be able to inspire students to develop a love for the subject.

One of the unique aspects of this position is that there is no planning or marking required. This allows you to focus solely on delivering lessons and providing support to students. You will have access to pre-prepared resources and support from the history department.

To be successful in this role, you should have a relevant degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Experience teaching history at the secondary level is preferred but not essential. We welcome applications from ECTs as well.

In return, the school offer a supportive and inclusive working environment, where both staff and students are valued. The school provides excellent professional development opportunities, and you will have access to a range of resources to enhance your teaching.

Rate of pay varies from £153 – £211 a day.
