Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Year 5 Teacher to work in a primary school in Cannock. This is a part-time position, specifically for mornings only.
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students and helping them thrive academically. The role will start in February 2024 and is a maternity cover.
We are looking for a candidate who holds a valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a passion for teaching. You should have a strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and be able to create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of our students.
Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver effective lessons in accordance with the Year 5 curriculum
– Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to learn
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement educational programs and strategies
– Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child’s progress
Requirements:
– Valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience or familiarity with the Year 5 curriculum
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to effectively manage a classroom and promote positive behavior
– Strong organisational and time-management abilities
