Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a well-established school in Tipton starting in March. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual looking to make a positive impact on the lives of children aged 4-11 with special educational needs.
Responsibilities:
– Provide support and assistance to students with special education needs, focusing on their individual requirements and learning goals.
– Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
– Assist in the creation and modification of classroom materials to meet the diverse needs of the students.
– Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
– Work closely with other teaching assistants and staff members to maintain an effective and cohesive team approach.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is essential.
– The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
– A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach towards supporting children’s emotional and educational development.
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
– A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the school’s vibrant and inclusive community.
