Zest Education are working with a secondary school in Redditch who are currently seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2024 to March 2024.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the teaching and learning of students under the guidance of the class teacher. Your main duties will include:
– Supporting students with their academic and personal development
– Assisting with the planning and implementation of lessons and activities
– Providing individual and small group support to students
– Monitoring and recording student progress
– Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management
– Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment
To be successful in this role, you should have a genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with both students and staff members.
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is desirable, but not essential. However, you should hold a relevant qualification such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate.
