A lovely school in Lichfield are seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching assistant to work on a 1:1 basis starting September 2022. This position is part time 5 afternoons per week.
The school aims to raise standards, value individual achievements, and promote respect and care throughout school. The school is passionate about children having the strongest start and require someone with the same values. The school is looking for a motivated and committed Teaching Assistant who will ensure that the child has the up most support.
The role itself will be working with a Year 1 child who needs additional support with their learning. You will need to have lots of patience, good behaviour management and be able to adapt your styles to suit the needs of the child.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
