Business Studies Teacher, South Birmingham

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Saltley area that we closely work with. This is a full-time role, requiring planning and marking responsibilities. The successful candidate will be teaching students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Studies.
– Assess and provide feedback on student performance.
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and resources.
– Monitor and track student progress and provide support where needed.
– Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement.

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
– Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies.
– Experience teaching Business Studies to secondary school students is desirable.
– Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
– Excellent communication and organizational skills.
– Commitment to continuous professional development.

This position is available from January 2024 until at least July 2024. It is a full-time role, requiring planning and marking responsibilities. The salary will be competitive and dependent on qualifications and experience.
