A Secondary School, located in Castle Bromwich, is seeking a temporary Science Teacher to provide cover for a period of 2 weeks, starting in January 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum and policies.
Requirements:
– Qualified Science Teacher (QTS)
– Experience teaching Science at the secondary school level
– Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the curriculum
– Ability to create and deliver effective lesson plans
– Excellent classroom management skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
– Plan, prepare, and deliver Science lessons to secondary school students
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment
– Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the departmental planning
– Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
– Maintain records of student attendance and achievement
