PPA teacher

Job Description

Zest Education are recruiting for a job opening for a part-time PPA teacher at a popular school in Druids Heath, Birmingham.

As a PPA teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the school curriculum, covering PPA and leadership time for the existing teaching staff. This position will provide you with a temporary contract, working 0.6 (3 days a week) from February half term until the end of the academic year.

The school itself is highly regarded, boasting a single form entry and led by a long-standing and passionate head teacher. The staff work diligently to foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for both children and fellow colleagues.

In your role as a PPA teacher, you will work across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring that curriculum continuity and high-quality teaching are maintained during the PPA and leadership time. Your resourcefulness, reliability, and strong work ethic will be essential in delivering engaging and effective lessons to meet the diverse needs of the pupils.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
