Zest Education is currently recruiting for a full-time Year 5 teacher to join a primary school we work closely with in Cannock. This position is available from March 2024 until the end of the academic year.
As a Year 5 teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of our students. We are seeking a passionate and qualified teacher with a valid QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). The ideal candidate will have previous experience working specifically with Year 5 students, understanding the unique challenges and curriculum requirements of this age group.
Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that adhere to the national curriculum and promote student development.
– Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
– Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
– Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to the school’s wider community.
Requirements:
– Valid QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and relevant teaching qualifications.
– Proven experience teaching Year 5 students.
– Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to create a positive and motivating learning environment.
– Organisational skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
– Dedication to student development and achievement.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
