Are you an experienced teaching assistant looking for a new opportunity in a wonderful school? Zest Education is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as full-time teaching assistants in multiple schools across Staffordshire.

As a teaching assistant at Zest Education, you will have the opportunity to work in various schools located in Lichfield, Burton-on-Trent, Burntwood, Tamworth, and Rugeley. All of our partner schools are highly regarded, with Ofsted ratings ranging from ‘good’ to ‘excellent’, ensuring a high-quality learning environment for both staff and students.

Working closely with experienced class teachers, your role as a teaching assistant will involve providing support and assistance to students in their learning journey. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential in order to effectively collaborate with the class teacher and ensure that all students stay engaged, on task, and have a clear understanding of the lesson objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and provide one-on-one support to students as needed.
– Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the personal and academic development of all students.
– Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
– Encourage student participation and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
– Provide additional support to students with special educational needs or those facing challenges in their learning.

Requirements:
– Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role would be advantageous.
– A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students’ lives.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
– The ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs.
– A commitment to promoting equality and inclusion within the classroom.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
