Zest Education are seeking a motivated MFL Teacher, who is both French and Spanish speaking, to join a secondary school in the Tyseley area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching languages and be able to plan and deliver lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. This is a full-time role due to commence in September 2025 and expected to run for one term.
– Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality MFL lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
– Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources to cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
– Assess and provide feedback on student performance, and track their progress throughout the academic year.
– Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
– Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
– Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities.
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Fluent in French and Spanish, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
– Experience teaching MFL at KS3 and KS4 levels, with a proven track record of student success.
– Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum requirements for MFL.
– Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
– Excellent organisational and time management skills.
– A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
