Design and Technology Teacher – Halesowen

Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Design and Technology Teacher to join a secondary school that we closely work with in Halesowen. This is a full-time temporary role starting at the end of January and lasting for 4-6 weeks.

Responsibilities:
– Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons to secondary school students.
– Plan and prepare engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all students.
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported.
– Assess and provide constructive feedback on students’ work.
– Monitor and track student progress and provide regular updates to parents and colleagues.
– Collaborate with the department to contribute to the development and improvement of the Design and Technology curriculum.

Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Relevant degree in Design and Technology or related field.
– Experience teaching Design and Technology to secondary school students.
– Good knowledge of the national curriculum for Design and Technology.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different students.
– Creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
