We are seeking a motivated and experienced English Teacher to join a secondary school that we closely work with in Kings Norton. This position will begin in February 2024 and continue until July 2024, covering the Key Stage 3 English curriculum.
Responsibilities include delivering engaging and creative English lessons to students in accordance with the school’s curriculum guidelines. You will be responsible for maintaining an inclusive learning environment that caters to the needs of all students.
This role does not require marking and planning, as these responsibilities will be covered by the department staff. However, you will be expected to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
– Qualified English teacher with experience teaching Key Stage 3
– Strong knowledge of the English curriculum
– Excellent classroom management skills
– Ability to create engaging and stimulating lessons
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills
The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching English and a commitment to nurturing student progress and achievement.
