Are you a passionate Key Stage 2 teacher looking for a new opportunity to make a difference? Zest Education is seeking a talented and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join our lovely school in Telford on a full-time basis from March 2024 until July 2024. This is an exciting chance to contribute to the education and growth of our students while working within a supportive and nurturing environment.
As a Year 6 Teacher , you will play a vital role in delivering a first-class education to all pupils. The school believe in not only imparting knowledge but also equipping students with essential life skills that will empower them to thrive beyond the classroom. Your passion for teaching and commitment to student success will be key in helping the students reach their full potential.

To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences to Year 6 students. You must be confident in your ability to engage and motivate students, ensuring their progress and achievement. Strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff, and parents are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of Year 6 students.
– Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
– Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning.
– Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
– Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and addressing any concerns.
– Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school activities.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant experience in teaching Year 6.
– Proven ability to deliver excellent teaching and drive student progress.
– Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment strategies.
– Effective classroom management skills, fostering a positive learning environment.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the wider school community.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
