Job Description

Are you a passionate Key Stage 2 teacher looking for a new opportunity to make a difference? Zest Education is seeking a talented and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join our lovely school in Telford on a full-time basis from March 2024 until July 2024. Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of Year 6 students.
– Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
– Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning.
– Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
– Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and addressing any concerns.
– Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school activities.

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant experience in teaching Year 6.
– Proven ability to deliver excellent teaching and drive student progress.
– Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment strategies.
– Effective classroom management skills, fostering a positive learning environment.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the wider school community.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
