We are seeking a History Teacher to join a OFSTED rated ‘Good’ secondary school located in Halesowen. As a history teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with some involvement in Key Stage 5 as well. The role will begin in April 2024 and extend until July 2024.
In addition to delivering lessons, you will also be required to plan your classes and mark students’ work. This will involve creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, providing feedback on assignments, and helping students prepare for exams. Your role as a history teacher is crucial in helping students develop a better understanding of the past and its influence on the present.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
