Part-time Special Education Needs Teacher, Walsall.
Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-time Special Education Needs Teacher to join a special educational needs school in Walsall. This opportunity is for the academic year starting in September 2024, with a commitment of 3 days a week, subject to discussion during the interview process.
As a Part-time Special Education Needs Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students aged 5-18 with autism and additional learning needs. Your responsibilities will include safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the students, ensuring individualised learning plans are met, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience teaching students in Key Stage 2
– Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for Key Stage 2
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities
– Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Proven track record of effective classroom management and student progress
