Job Description

Zest Education is currently collaborating with a fantastic school in Wolverhampton that is seeking a talented Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis, working Wednesday to Friday. This role is due to begin in September 2024 and will be ongoing until at least April 2025. Should the school find you a suitable fit for the position, this position may continue.

As a Year 6 Teacher at this esteemed school, your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, assessing and monitoring student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their learning development. You will also be expected to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth among students.

The ideal candidate for this position must hold relevant teaching qualifications (QTS Status) and have experience working with primary school children preferably year 6. The successful candidate should possess strong communication and organisational skills, and demonstrate a passion for education. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively to the school community.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
