Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a positive impact on their educational journey? Zest Education is delighted to partner with a well-regarded primary school in Wolverhampton, renowned for its ‘good’ Ofsted rating, to find a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant. This exciting opportunity is a full-time, ongoing position. The school are looking for the successful candidate to start in September 2024.

As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through to Key Stage 2. Your compassionate nature and ability to connect with children of varying ages will be instrumental in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities of the role include:
– Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
– Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.
– Help with classroom management and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
– Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop and implement creative teaching strategies.
– Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
– Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
– Promote inclusivity and ensure all students feel valued and supported.
To be successful in this position you must:
– Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
– A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different students.
– A patient and empathetic approach when working with children.
– Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
