We are currently helping a ‘Good’ rated school in the Burntwood area who are looking for a passionate teacher to join them for a job share position in a year 3 class. The school are looking for the candidate to start September 2024 for 3 days a week and continue for 2 full academic terms.
The small welcoming school has close ties to the local community and other schools, allowing the school to provide the best educational and social opportunities for all students. The school strives incredibly hard to maintain a good and uplifting environment for all students while providing the most exciting and beneficial curriculum possible.
To stay true to the school’s principles and values, you must be a passionate and dedicated teacher who can develop strong relationships with both staff and students. The successful candidate must be able to prepare, organise, teach well thought out lessons to the class (time will be allocated for this), as well as have great classroom and behaviour management skills.
The responsibilities of this role include:
– Planning and delivering engaging lessons for students
– Collaborating with the co-teacher to ensure continuity in curriculum delivery
– Providing feedback to students on their academic performance and progress
– Attending staff meetings and parent-teacher conferences as required
– Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
To be successful within this position you must:
– Holding a valid teaching license or certification
– Demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Having a strong understanding of educational principles and practices
– Showing flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
– Prior experience in teaching or relevant field

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
