PPA Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced PPA Teacher to join a primary school in Leamington Spa starting in September 2024.

As a PPA Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students by providing essential cover for class teachers during their non-contact time.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

– Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching sessions across various year groups and subjects.

– Follow and adapt existing lesson plans to ensure continuity in learning outcomes.

– Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive and conducive learning environment.

– Assess student progress and provide valuable feedback to students and parents.

– Collaborate with the teaching staff to contribute to the continuous development of the school’s curriculum.

 

 Requirements:

– Possession of a valid QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) certification.

– Demonstrated experience as a PPA teacher or in a similar role.

– Thorough understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.

– Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

– Capacity to adapt quickly to new environments and situations.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
