SEND Teacher

Job Description

If so, this opportunity as a full-time Teacher at a special educational needs school in Stoke-on-Trent might be the fresh start you’ve been looking for. Starting in September 2024 on a full-time basis, this role offers a chance to work closely with students aged 3 to 11, each with unique and complex needs.

In this role, you will not only share your knowledge but also your compassion, inspiring and motivating young minds to achieve their full potential through the transformative power of education. Your responsibilities will include managing challenging behaviours, implementing effective strategies, and creating a positive and engaging classroom environment where every student feels supported and encouraged to learn.

To excel in this position, you should possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), have prior experience working in a school environment, and showcase strong classroom management skills. More importantly, a genuine passion for working with children and fostering their educational growth is key. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
