Zest Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a special educational needs school in Rugby. This part-time role requires you to work 3 days a week from 8:30 to 15:30, starting in October 2024 on a long-term basis for the right candidate.
In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to work with students aged 11-18 with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH), providing them with essential support in their educational journey. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with children with special needs, demonstrating patience, care, and a willingness to go above and beyond to support their development.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will need to be creative in the classroom, delivering engaging support to both the class teacher and students. You will work closely with individuals on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, adapting to the dynamic and fast-paced environment of the school.
