Are you a experienced teaching assistant looking for your next challenge?
Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a team and work with a school in West Bromwich. This full-time position will commence in October 2024 and extend at least until January 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 2 (KS2) classes.

Role Responsibilities will include:
– Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
– Support individual students or small groups with their learning activities.
– Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
– Supervise students during break times and off-site activities.
– Assist in preparing materials and resources for lessons.
– Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.
To be successful within this position you must:
– Possess excellent communication skills
– Ability to work well in a team
– Strong organisational skills
– Experience working with primary aged students with a understanding of national curriculum across EYFS – KS2
– Knowledge of classroom management techniques
Pay will begin from £77.00 per day and will depend on experience and references.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
