Early Careers Teacher, Walsall

Job Description

Zest Education are looking for newly qualified or current ECT’s to join a secondary school in the Walsall area that we work closely with.

The OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school is already one of the highest performing secondary schools in the region and is an exciting and inspirational place to work and study.

The curriculum is coherently planned and sequenced so that new knowledge and skills are built on what has been taught before, striving towards clearly defined end points. It is successfully adapted, designed, and developed for all students, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities and EAL students, so they can all engage fully in the curriculum. The school have also made sure the curriculum addresses gaps in students’ knowledge and skills, especially those that have arisen as a result of the pandemic.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

This is a full-time role starting in September 2022 for two academic years

 

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
