Classroom Support Assistant.
Zest Education are working closely with a special educational needs school in central Birmingham so is easily accessible by private or public transport. The school have asked us to find a Classroom Support Assistant. This is a full-time position, that will start in September 2022 and continue for the rest of the academic year, potentially in a permanent capacity.
The school itself caters for children from the age of five to seventeen with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). Due to the needs of the learners, the ideal candidate must have previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs.
The role will require you to quickly build engaging relationships with small groups of children, and you will need to work closely as a team with the class teacher and other teaching assistants. You will be confident, enthusiastic and be able to identify and engage with different learning needs.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
