Zest are seeking committed and dedicated class teacher to join a forward-thinking team at a primary school in Cannock. The school pride themselves on delivering high-quality education, particularly for students who may face challenging backgrounds and aim to provide a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment where all students are empowered to thrive. This is a full time role to start in January 2025.

This role would suit both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers looking to contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos and high standards.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who genuinely care about children, particularly those who are skilled in building strong, positive relationships. Successful candidates will be able to inspire and motivate, supporting all children to reach their full potential, regardless of their starting point.

Responsibilities:
• To carry out the duties of a Class Teacher
• To establish good relationships, encourage good working practices and support the
Headteacher and school team.
• Attend assemblies and events and contribute to the preparation of these throughout the
year.
• Plan effectively to ensure pupils have the opportunity to meet their potential, recognising
and responding to individual needs of pupils including those pupils who require additional
support.
• To plan effectively to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and in
collaboration with the SENDCO, prepare, implement, monitor and review Individual
Educational Plans.
• To assess, record and monitor each pupil’s progress providing constructive, oral and written
feedback.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
