Zest have an exciting opportunity that awaits you at a primary school in Erdington! Zest Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) teacher to join the team starting in February 2025.
As a full-time PPA teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing cover for teachers’ PPA time, ensuring that students receive high-quality education in their absence. Your responsibilities will include delivering engaging lessons across various subjects, following the school curriculum, and maintaining a positive learning environment for students.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant teaching qualification, strong classroom management skills, and a genuine passion for working with primary school children. You should be able to adapt quickly to different teaching environments, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and have a creative approach to lesson planning.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
