Are you looking to gain more experience in the teaching world, with a strong passion for PE and mentoring children? A role at a school in Birmingham, Erdington area, are looking for a full-time member of staff to start in September for one term as a cover supervisor. This would be open to candidates without teaching experience as long as you have previous sports coaching experience.
The school loves to see progression in PE as it believes its good for your mental and physical health. The team there are looking to maintain their high standards, so teamwork is a key skill if applying for this role, in turn because of this there will be lots of support along the way.
The role will require you to build and maintain relationships with the pupils and help them set goals, that they hope to achieve. Confidence, enthusiasm and supportiveness will be key to excelling in this opportunity. The role will see you take PE lessons following the current curriculum, but the creativity of the lesson is up to you.
