Learning Support Assistant.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Learning Support Assistant to work in a secondary special educational needs school located in Atherstone. This opportunity is to start in September 2022 and will be ongoing for the remainder of the academic year.
This school caters for children from the age of seven to eighteen with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). The students at this school have often had challenging lives and their range of needs is usually complex. Due to this reason, the ideal candidate must be able to quick build positive relationships with the students.
This school provides a personalised curriculum which is tailored to the students individual needs. You will be required to work with the students individually and in small groups with all areas of the curriculum.
The successful candidate must have experience working with individuals with special educational needs. You must be a proactive and engaging individual who has proven experience of having strong behaviour management skills and working across a range of age groups.
